UK Road Legal Disclaimer

Important Note on UK Road Legality:
Under UK law, for an electric cycle (including trikes) to be legally used on public roads without registration, MOT, or insurance, it must meet the “Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycle (EAPC)” regulations:

  • The motor must have a maximum continuous rated power of 250 W
  • The motor must only assist while pedalling (no throttle‑only mode)
  • The assistance must cut off by the time the bike reaches 15.5 mph (25 km/h)

The Revom T2 is fitted with a 48 V / 250 W rear motor and supports pedal assist. It may comply with EAPC rules if used in its standard mode and without bypassing restrictions.

However, if the throttle mode enables motor power independently (i.e. without pedalling) or assists beyond 15.5 mph, then it may be classed as a moped and require registration, insurance, and a license.

You are responsible for ensuring your use and configuration is compliant with local laws and regulations. Always confirm with your local DVLA / relevant authorities before riding on public roads.
