Is the Revom T1 EAPC compliant?
In its standard UK specification, the T1 uses a 250W continuous rated motor with electrical assistance limited to 15.5mph (25km/h). Its manufacturer documentation also limits non-pedalling walk assistance to approximately 6km/h. These specifications correspond with the principal power, assisted-speed and walk-assist requirements applicable to an EAPC in Great Britain. Compliance depends on the complete supplied configuration remaining unmodified.

Off-Road Compliance Notice

The standard Revom T1 specification uses a 250W continuous rated motor, so a higher-powered classification does not apply to the standard model described on this page.

Under current Great Britain EAPC requirements, maximum continuous rated motor power must not exceed 250W and electrical assistance must cut off at 15.5mph (25km/h).

Any modification, controller adjustment, software alteration, replacement motor or other change that increases continuous rated motor output above 250W or permits electrical assistance above 15.5mph may cause the tricycle to fall outside EAPC classification.

A configuration that no longer meets EAPC requirements may be subject to additional legal requirements. Buyers are responsible for ensuring that the product remains in an appropriate configuration for its intended use and location.

Do not modify, derestrict or alter the electrical system in a manner that changes the manufacturer's standard EAPC specification.
