To ride legally on public roads or cycle routes, you must order the UK-compliant version, electronically restricted to 250 W motor power and 15.5 mph pedalling assist ONLY.

The standard (unrestricted) version is classified as a motor vehicle under UK law and requires DVLA registration, taxation, insurance, MOT, a suitable driving licence, helmet, number plate, and head/tail lamps, and is allowed only on private land.
