The all-new Dawes Spire 1.0 Crossbar Electric Hybrid Bike is a versatile ride perfect for commuting, shopping trips, or weekend adventures along canal towpaths and country parks.
The crossbar aluminium frame integrates a 360Wh Samsung battery for up to 28 miles (45 km) of assisted pedalling. Power comes from a Bafang 250W rear hub motor with 32Nm of torque, delivering smooth assistance on hills and flat terrain. The battery is removable and charges on or off the bike in just 5 hours, with an integrated battery lock for peace of mind.
The handlebar-mounted display provides clear ride information and 5 power assist modes. Walk assist helps push the bike uphill when off the saddle. Shimano Altus 1x8 speed gearing and Tektro hydraulic disc brakes offer smooth shifting and reliable stopping power. A 70mm travel suspension fork with hydraulic lockout absorbs bumps for a comfortable ride.
Comfort features include a Selle Royal Freeway saddle, ergonomic grips, and alloy city pedals. The 700x45c Kenda tyres have puncture protection and reflective sidewalls for visibility. Front and rear LED lights, mudguards, a rear pannier rack, and a kickstand come as standard.
