The Dawes Spire 2.0 Low Step is a versatile and stylish electric hybrid bike, perfect for commuting, shopping trips, or weekend rides along towpaths and country parks. Compared to the Spire 1.0, it features upgraded 1x9 Shimano Alivio/Altus gearing, a larger 540Wh battery, and a sleek centre-mounted LCD display.

The low step aluminium frame houses the integrated 540Wh Samsung battery, delivering up to 60 miles (97km) of pedal-assisted range. Power is supplied by a Bafang 250W rear hub motor with 32Nm of torque, providing smooth assistance for climbs and effortless riding on flat terrain. The battery is removable for charging on or off the bike and locks securely for peace of mind.

The centre-mounted display, paired with a side-mounted remote, allows riders to choose from 5 assist modes, monitor speed, distance, battery level, and use walk-assist mode when pushing the bike uphill. Hydraulic lockout on the 70mm suspension fork ensures comfort over uneven surfaces, and the adjustable stem allows for a tailored riding position.

Rider comfort is enhanced with a Selle Royal Freeway saddle, ergonomic grips, and alloy city pedals. The 700x45c Kenda tyres feature puncture protection and reflective detailing for safety. The Spire 2.0 comes complete with front and rear LED lights, mudguards, a rear pannier rack, and a kickstand for practical everyday use.
